Now in his third season at Bootham Crescent having joined the club from Hereford United in the summer of 2008. Capped twice for Northern Ireland he had a spell on loan with City from
Sunderland in 2002-03 making 17 Football League appearances. He also had loan spells with Carlisle United, Darlington and Doncaster Rovers before joining Wrexham prior to his move to Edgar
Street.
Has now over 100 senior appearances to his credit and took over the captaincy in the closing weeks of 2009-2010 leading the side out at Wembley in the play off final.
Kept 25 clean sheets in League and Cup football last season and was voted “Clubman of the Year”.
