Youth Team Players Sign Up

Three of the four Youth Team players offered Full Time Professional Contracts by City Manager Colin Walker have signed deals with the club. Andy McWilliams, Liam Shepherd and Josh Radcliffe have all put pen to paper in the last few days to take another step on the football ladder.

Andy McWilliams featured in 5 first team fixtures at the end of last season and caught the eye of many of Citys fans. Stockton born McWilliams joined Citys Centre of Excellence in 2000 and also appeared in most of City's Pontins League fixtures last season either at Left Back or in Midfield.

Liam Shepherd is a pacy winger and was born in York. A former pupil of Oaklands School, Shepherd also joined City in 2000 and made the City subs bench 4 times last season.

Centre Half, Josh Radcliffe is from Harrogate and is another Centre of Excellence product having originally signed in 2004. Radcliffe is still to make his first team debut but travelled with the squad on a couple of occasions last season.

Fellow Centre Half, Danny Stimpson has declined City's offer preferring to accept the chance to play in Sweden instead.

The triple signing means that the City squad is now up to 16 players for next season.
